Observations of Light: Light!

Capturing light was an interesting process for our group. Majority of our shoot took place downtown, at the cusp of the evening. The slanted shadows and waning sun not only motivated us to be proactive in our shooting, but more importantly provided us with this constantly changing atmosphere, where light seemed to provide new compositions for each passing moment.

Given our limited available light on this occasion, I found light to be endearingly circumstantial. Much in the way that you might catch a passing gust of wind at the right moment; with it serendipitous, perfect cool tough to your skin. In similar fashion, light has this constant interplay of shifting permutations and possibilities. And together, we found that with each new discovery or idea, there was a rediscovery of our surroundings and how light remains both all-encompassing and fleeting.
